Physics 2000
The University of Colorado's Physics2000 web site is an in-depth, interactive, and conversational approach to teaching modern physics. The site is organized into sections. Einstein's Legacy is a compilation of how the principles of modern physics led to the invention of X-rays, cat scans, microwave ovens, lasers, TV screens and laptop screens. The Atomic Lab introduces the double-slit experiment and goes into detail about Bose-Einstein Condensate. Science Trek is a content-rich section explaining electromagnetic waves, the quantum atom, polarization, periodic table, isotopes and radioactivity.
This resource is a perfect source for introduction of concepts or use as a reference resource when questions arise. Advanced topics for enrichment are coded with the letters "Adv" beside the link. The letters "Alg" indicate an algebraic proof or solution.
