Me and My Family
This site introduces the concept of traits that are passed from parents to offspring. It is a discussion with a chart for students to fill out as a way of comparing themselves and their parents or grandparents. This lesson is described as a fifth grade lesson plan, but is easily adapted to second or third grade with little work. The chart is available as a printout from the site so the teacher does not have to spend time creating one.
