Fact and Opinion Unit Lesson 1: Form an Opinion

Complete lesson plan with suggestion to use the book Animal Touch by Kirsten Hall. A link to a printable .pdf of a student independent practice sheet is provided. Teacher uses think aloud strategy to introduce the concept of opinions. Students also have an opportunity to write opinions through guided and independent practice. You may need to register to use this site, but it is free.
