Variables, terms, formulae, and identities
This site includes three Java applets that are puzzles that would be great for openers, or review. Puzzle 1 is based on recognizing the structure of algebraic terms, puzzle 2 is based on characterizing properties into words, and puzzle 3 is based on identifing terms in which numerical values play a role.
The student will be able to recognize and match multiple representations of expressions.
