Rocketology: Baking Soda + Vinegar = Lift Off
In this simple activity, students experiment with differing amounts of baking soda and vinegar to determine the best combination to get the highest launch of their film canister rocket.
Students investigate this chemical reaction of baking soda and vinegar and utilize their understanding of the chemical reaction and Newton's Third Law of Motion to design the highest flying film canister rocket .
