Resource Depletion
This video clip is 1:23 min about the difference between natural resources that are renewable and those that are not. Oil, helium, and trees are the examples used, the word depletion would need to be added as a new vocabulary word and explained well before the video is used.
This could be used to help students begin to group words into renewable and nonrenewable categories. The lesson could be differentiated by allowing some students to have word cards and others to come up with their own words to put into the categories.
