The Salem Witchcraft Trials of 1692
This website contains great resources for research. It is a compilation of primary and secondary sources about the Salem Witch Trials. There is even a link that lists the historical discrepancies in the movie The Crucible.
I used this site for guided research for my American Literature students. After we watched The Crucible, students chose one of the characters and visited this website to conduct research about the real historical person the movie character was based on. Trial documents, biographical essays, and many other categories can be found here.
