Base 10 Pictures with Decimals
This is an activity card that can be used as practice or as an assessment for modeling decimals. The students are to use printable base 10 blocks to create a picture and assign it a decimal value. This activity could be extended by instructing the students to put themselves in order from least to greatest or greatest to least based on the values of their pictures.
This resource requires students to understand the base 10 system in order to model decimals.
