Archimedes' Puzzle
In this lesson, students learn about the history of the Stomachion, use the pieces to create other figures, learn about symmetry and transformations, and investigate the areas of the pieces.
This acivity involves using figures or shapes cut out of paper to actively find the line of symmetry and center of rotation. All worksheets are provided to the instructor.
