Cell Membrane, Just Passing Thru
This interactive animation allows students to click on a substance and view how a cell transports it into or out of the cell. This is a basic animation that could be used as part of a webquest or simply by allowing the students to view during instruction.
This animation clearly gives a visual representation of all the major processes of cellular transport. Exocytosis, osmosis, diffusion, protein pumps, and ion channels are all represented.
