Sound
This site uses a series of animations and tones to explain how sound moves molecules of air and how our ears perceive each frequency. Touch tone dialing is explained by combinations of frequencies.
This resource reinforces the connection between frequency and pitch. Sound is modeled as the transfer of energy through air molecules and visualized linearly and in spherical symmetry.
