PhysicsLAB: Practice with the Doppler Effect
Ten practice questions related to the Doppler effect, along with "hint" buttons for each question. The user either enters a numeric answer or chooses from a list, depending on the question, and then clicks the "View Correct Answers" at the bottom. The user's responses are then marked correct or incorrect. There is also a link to a physlet (Java applet) that demonstrates the Doppler effect.
These questions allow the user to self-evaluate their ability to calculate shifts in apparent frequency due to motion.
