All Aboard for Protein Synthesis
This is a kinesthetic activity where students walk through the process of transcription and translation to understand and demonstrate protein synthesis.
The student knows that every cell contains a `blueprint` coded in DNA molecules that specify how proteins are assembled to regulate cells. This activity helps students understand how the code of DNA is used by cells to produce RNA and then protein that determine traits. This activity may help students understand transcription and translation better than reading about it in a book.
