Shared Reading
Included on this site are directions to use shared reading, examples for cross-curricular use, a brief list of children’s books to use with the strategy, and tips for differentiated instruction.
Shared reading provides struggling readers with necessary support to build sight word knowledge and reading fluency. Shared reading allows students to enjoy materials that they may not be able to read on their own.
