Who Wants to be a Millionaire with Algebraic Expressions
This is a game of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" where the students can answer questions to go up the money pyramid. The students can be divided into 2 teams or a student can play individually. This starts with basic algebraic expressions and then as you go up the pyramid, the questions get more difficult.
Students will practice interpreting Algebraic expressions while participating in a fun activity. The level of questions can address the struggling learner as well as the students who are more advanced. This could be used as individual student practice or a type of pre-assessment or formative assessment.
