Laws of Exponents
This stie is a great way to explain and demonstrate the laws of exponents. All of the laws are listed in table format, including fractional exponents. There are definitions and examples as well as practice problems.
This would great as an enrichment activity during the scientific notation unit. The laws of exponents take place in Algebra 1, but this would be a great way to introduce 8th grade students to those laws. The questions at the end range in difficulty level.
