Parallel Lines and Angles - Video Lesson
This is a 3 part video on teaching parallel lines and the relationship formed by the angles when they are cut a transveral. The "teacher" gives notes on parallel lines, a transversal, and corresponding, same-side interior (consecutive interior), alternate interior, and alternate exterior angles. The 2nd video takes the learner through examples. The 3rd video is a challenge video game where a complicated figure is given with 2 given angles. The object is for the learner to find the missing angle.
This video series demonstrates the relationships formed by parallel lines and a transveral. The 1st video is simply instructional. The last video can be an enrichment activity for the more advanced learner.
