Peer Review Writing Conferences
This website gives specific examples of effective and ineffective comments for a peer review writing conference.
Peer Conferencing is a crucial part of the writer's workshop, but it is often difficult to effectively illustrate appropriate and inappropriate ways in which that conference should be handled. This web resource describes in kid language comments that are effective and ineffective for discussing a peer's writing in a conference. It also includes several writing samples for class-wide discussion that will provide a model for kid conferencing.
