Area and Perimeter
This website has an interactive lesson teaching area and perimeter using a real world situation. It gives students the opportunity to solve problems as the lesson progresses and then provides additional student practice.
This resource teaches students how to find the perimeter and area of shapes. It shows the difference between the two concepts and uses real world situations to teach the concept. It allows students to actively participate throughout the lesson. Students could be given graph paper to follow along with the lesson.
