High or Low?
This is an activity to help students grasp simple probability using a deck of cards. Students will "guess" is the next card drawn will be higher or lower than the previous card based on probability they have calculated.
This activity could easily be differentiated for different learning levels by changing how many ways probability must be found (ratio, decimal, percent), or by narrowing or broadening the sample space and desirable outcomes.
