AlgeCaching Activity - Finding your way around the Graphing Calculator
This is an online activity involving students working independently using a TI-84 plus Calculator. Students will have to find their way around the key functions on the calculator, answer questions correctly, and then go on only if their answers are correct. There are 7 levels, and at the end, the students may print a certificate of completion.
This activity is a great way to introduce the graphing calculator as a new piece of technology to the students. They enjoy the challenge of getting from one page to another. At the end, they will be able to get a certificate. It is an excellent use of problem solving.
