Density
This video addresses "What is density?" and gives examples of how to measure density. A specific illustration was given using a trash can filled with water and having Dr. Carlson completely immersing himself and displacing some of the water from the trash can. By refilling the trash can and measuring the amount of water needed to refill the can, the density can be calculated. Using the formula Density=Mass/Volume it was determined that Dr. Carlson was denser than water since his density was greater than that of water which is one. Also included was the comparison of volume and weight. This can be correlated with Math GLE 0806.4.3 and GLE 0806.4.4.
This video does an excellent job in explaining what density really is and how to calculate it using different instruments that involves the use of Kilograms, grams and mass. Related to the GLE on Properties of Matter.
