Plagiarism and Citing Sources
This podcast discusses plagiarism and can be used as an introduction before teaching a research project or informational writing. A student skit is used to illustrate plagiarism in a way that students can relate to. Items discussed are the forms of plagiarism, consequences of plagiarism, and methods to avoid plagiarism. It also discusses how to make a parenthetical citation to avoid plagiarism in writing.Â
