Information Elimination
This is a computer based activity to teach/reinforce students how to narrow the topic for a report. Students will follow and assist a the online student as he learns how to chose and narrow a topic for a paper he is writing. A detective helps along the way! Students will learn how to prepare for writing an expository piece.
This resource would be useful as an enrichment activity while teaching about how to chose a topic, making a plan for researching it, and writing about the chosen topic. Students would enjoy working independently or with a partner as they help the online student through the research process. Also, this activity may be suitable for whole group as an enjoyable whole group activity.
