Writing a Proof - Direct Euclidean Proofs
This lesson is made up of two short lessons, "Styles of Proofs", and "What is a Proof?" as well as a "warm-up" to get the students thinking in terms of given information and what conclusion can be drawn. It also has an activity for ordering a proof given its pieces, and one to have students make up their own rubric for grading their proofs. The student will become familiar with two column, flow chart, and paragraph proofs, as well as the reasoning behind them.
