Bird Beaks

This complete lesson plan explores the relationship between a bird's beak and its ability to find food and survive in a given environment.  It includes a game students play in class, in which they try to gather various kinds of "food" with a chosen "beak." This lesson plan addresses the above GLE directly, and allows students to experience why physical adaptations allow an organism to survive.
