Persuasive Writing
The topic of pets is a high-interest subject for students. Using a model from literature is an effective strategy to teach persuasive writing. Students can relate to wanting a pet and trying to persuade parents. Letter writing skills will need to precede this lesson.
TASK ASSIGNMENT
