Materials:

  • Expository text
  • Choose text within students’ instructional-independent reading level range or teacher read-aloud.
  • 12” x 18” construction paper
  • Cut paper in half lengthwise to make 6” x 18” strips.
  • Fold into desired number of sections.
  • Crayons or markers
  • Pencil
