This session will outline a three-year program in which teachers learned to evaluate their instructional practice with monthly professional development that included reflection tools developed to support teacher growth and improved instructional practices connected to comprehension and writing. Participants will learn how continual teacher collaboration became an expectation, and school culture focused upon collaborative improvement of teaching practice enhanced a mindset of professional growth.
